NYC public schools are suffocating our kids. The greatest city in the world is running 75+ year old school buildings that are too hot, too cold, and plagued with mold, leaks, asbestos, and poor ventilation. Rising temperatures and extreme weather are making this crisis worse, and schools are harming our health and our education, most of all in disadvantaged communities. With federal cuts threatening the future of our planet, it’s time for New York to deliver our own solutions.

We want Green, Healthy Schools! By investing in green upgrades for NYC public schools, we can lead the nation and create thousands of green union jobs, improve student performance, and delivering thriving communities, because students, teachers, and school workers deserve schools where they can work and learn safely.

Join the Climate Works for All coalition and sign the petition to tell our next mayor: we need Green, Healthy Schools to ensure the future of New York City’s climate, children, education system, and workforce.
