Nina C. Trumbo is the Strategic Researcher and Policy Analyst at ALIGN. She has worked in a variety of roles with nonprofit organizations, labor unions, and political campaigns. For the past two years, she was a Content Analyst for LightSail, an education technology company that produced an app designed to improve literacy skills in K-12 students. Previously, she was data manager for the Peoples Climate March and strategically targeted outreach to thousands of environmental activists and organizations. She has also worked as a Strategic Corporate Researcher at Change to Win on a campaign to unionize low-wage workers. Additionally, Nina worked on President Obama’s 2012 reelection campaign, where she was tasked with employing community organizing techniques to create teams of volunteers in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her efforts resulted in 97% votes cast for President Obama in the wards she organized. Nina received a Bachelor of Art in Political Science from the University of Chicago.
