On Sep 16, 2017 ALIGN hosted a climate activist workshop that brought together rank and file members of labor and community organizations. The workshop was part of ALIGN’s “School of Active Resistance”.
Participants built relationships, strengthened their skills, and found ways to take practical action together on climate change in our city.
Among the many organizations represented were IBEW (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers) Local 3, Ironworkers, Make the Road, New York Communities for Change, NYC-EJA (New York City Environmental Justice Alliance), and Climate Change Theater Action.
