CNN PRODUCER NOTE While many were shopping on Black Friday a group of protestors gathered outside a Wal-Mart Supercenter in Secaucus, New Jersey to show their distaste with retail employment. Many workers complained of being underpaid, overworked, and not having the support needed to sustain a beneficial life. alexpreditor filmed the event and interviewed former employees of the superstore and other retail stores on their time working for these companies. "I covered Black Friday for the last few years in the traditional way, with crowds of people lining up and racing for bargains," she said. This year was the closest I could get to showing what it's like to work during the day. Some workers are not benefiting from the bargains of their employers and the angry mob across the street is the most hopeful thing they will see all day." - CYDFISH7, CNN iReport producer
