Zachary Lerner is a Deputy Executive Director at New York Communities for Change (NYCC). He has been with the organization for 11 years, beginning as an organizer in the Bronx and growing into a key member of the senior leadership team.
During his time at NYCC, Zack has helped lead the organization to a number of major wins, including the successful campaign to block Amazon from receiving billions in subsidies to build an HQ in New York and the Fund Excluded Workers campaign, which established a first-of-its-kind $2.1 billion fund to support primarily undocumented workers who had been excluded from financial support during the pandemic. Zack graduated from Rutgers University in 2011.
