He’s leading efforts to pass the Climate Change Superfund Act and expand clean energy jobs, with a focus on ensuring they’re union jobs. Under his leadership, the coalition has secured state-level protections for warehouse and retail workers. A Brooklyn native and early ALIGN staffer, he helped pass the Warehouse Worker Injury Reduction Act and the Retail Worker Safety Act, which were both signed into law last year.
