*At City Hall, Communities Will Unite to Call on Mayor de Blasio to Commit to Real Affordable Housing, Good Union Jobs, and Strong Anti-Displacement Measures in All Rezonings Planned for Local Neighborhoods*
WHAT: For the first time, communities from across the city will come together at a City Hall news event to call on Mayor de Blasio to address growing concerns about his plan for neighborhood rezonings. They will urge the de Blasio administration to include specific commitments to real affordable housing, good local union jobs, and strong anti-displacement measures in rezonings planned for local neighborhoods. Community residents, business owners, workers, union leaders, and advocates from impacted neighborhoods will speak at this event on Mayor de Blasio’s rezoning plan.
