Today the first ever New York City Care Congress was held at Pace University in downtown Manhattan. Care givers, recipients, seniors, faith leaders, advocacy groups, and concerned citizens met to discuss ways to improve the home care industry. Speakers included Ai-Jen Poo, Director of the National Domestic Workers Alliance and Inez McCormack, founder of the Practice and Participation of Rights Organization.
