Nina promotes ALIGN’s sustainability and growth as the organization’s Director of Finance and Operations. As a lifelong Brooklynite, Nina is committed to community-led movements for a more just and equitable New York.
Prior to joining ALIGN, Nina worked with retail workers for six years; after graduating from the Retail Action Project’s Member Organizing Training program, Nina went on to serve as Operations Director of RAP’s sister nonprofit, the Center for Frontline Retail (CFR). At CFR, Nina managed the organization’s operations, finances, and fundraising to connect retail workers to essential services and a community of engaged worker leaders, and to support collaborations with workers, organized labor, and other stakeholders around campaigns for higher standards of employment in the retail sector.
