Oriana (she/her/ella) is the Economic Justice Campaign Manager for ALIGN, and is responsible for building diverse partnerships, engaging broader audiences, and coordinating high-impact mobilizations for economic justice coalition campaigns.

Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Oriana moved to NYC in 2016 and has been working in advocacy, coalition building, and political organizing at the City, State, and Federal level for nearly a decade. Prior to starting at ALIGN, Oriana was the Senior Manager of Policy and Advocacy at Immigrant ARC, a coalition of immigration legal aid organizations. While always centering the fight for immigrant rights, her passion for social justice and transformative systemic change also led her to work in local government at both the city and state level. Most recently, in her previous role as the Director of Constituent Services for Queens’ Council Member Tiffany Cabán, Oriana worked in coalition with community based organizations and coordinated rapid response efforts in response to several on-going city-wide emergencies. A Queens based advocate, Oriana is passionate about fighting for a better, greener, more equitable and affordable NYC.
