NEW YORK – Today, essential workers, labor organizations, elected officials, and community advocates rallied at a downtown Amazon Go convenience store against Amazon’s growing regional monopoly and abuses, calling on Governor Hochul to implement a corporate accountability plan. The group then marched to the offices of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and spoke out against a proposed regional hub at Newark Airport, which is being negotiated without community involvement.
